From beginners to accomplished skiers, hikers and nature lovers, everyone finds their way to Waimes, Sourbrodt and the surrounding area. 20 cm of snow and open ski slopes attract many day-trippers. No parking space left. But in the countryside, it is mainly enjoying snow and beautiful views. The ski slopes are also buzzing with activity.
December is back in the country, the end-of-year period is approaching, lights appear in the streets everywhere and the nativity scene at the church is back. Our house is also ready for cosy end-of-year celebrations again.
Our jacuzzi let us down. Repair was no longer possible, so we ordered a new spa. This one has since been delivered, installed and prepared for use. We hope it will provide many years of wellness.
On a rainy day, we visited Verviers’ chololate museum. There we learned when and where cocoa was discovered, the use of chocolate over the centuries and the origins of its various flavours. The exploration ended with a treat for the taste buds
